Operation Catnip Peterborough

Trap/Neuter/Return Program for Feral & Abandoned Cats.

Caring for cats in our community for the past 10 years!

Working with community partners, our mission is to reduce the suffering and control the population of feral and abandoned cats in our community. Operation Catnip provides TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return) and preventative educational services within the City of Peterborough, Ontario.

OC began in April of 2013 with a small group of volunteers. We have since TNR’d and rescued over 2100 cats in over 500 colonies in Nogojiwanong Peterborough and the surrounding areas. Along with the help of incredible caregivers, supporters, clinics and rescues, we are making a difference in the lives of the cats in our community!

Two calico cats cuddle together in a workshop amongst the tools. They look very content and both have a signature ear-tip to mark that they have both been spayed.
